Dawn's Diary September 2003

Dear Diary

Once again, I have been most negligent in my entries.  Unfortunately, technical errors on my part also make it difficult to give much of a meaningful update.  It seems that I inadvertently deleted the pictures I had taken from Victoria's birthday during the download and save process. I will do my best to give a literary description of the events that have transpired recently.

Let's see...OK, school started for the new academic year for the kids. David is in 6th grade which means a new school, middle school. He is enjoying the new found freedom of walking home after school and not having to go to after school care.  He also gets to change classes, has band and a locker. I think he enjoys it.  Vic is in 4th grade and seems to like it. She is taking twirling lessons and still playing softball.  Her birthday was in August, let's see...she is 9 now.   We took some of her friends disco bowling and then they spent the night.

David is doing Coutillion, or however you spell it. It is where boys and girls of the same age get together once a month and learn dancing, etiquette, etc.  All the kids are signed up, it must be "the thing to do".

Regarding my job, it seems the closing date of the sale is in early October. I don't anticipate much longer in employment.  I am hoping to avoid extensive travel during the transition. I still don't know what I will do after I lose my job.  It may include, however, obtaining a companion Cavalier for Ripley.  Speaking of Ripley, I have some updated pictures of him on Ripley's picture page.  He is about grown up now, just some more hair to go.  Well, sorry for the lack of pictures this time. I will try to do better from now on. I have been kind of "out of it" lately, but will make an effort to get back with the program.

See ya
