Dawn's Diary
May 26th, 2003
Dear Diary
What an exciting week this has been. The end of the school year is now
here. Early in the week, Vic had a science fair where she displayed her
science experiment that she had been working on.

She and her partner did an experiment to see if a Beta fish would display when a mirror was placed in his bowl. The experiment was a success. The girls won an honourable mention for their work.
David graduated from 5th grade.
There
was a big ceremony at the school. David managed to make the year's honor
roll and we were very proud. There was much celebration throughout the land. The
afternoon after graduation, there was a swim party for all of the 5th graders in
Georgetown, and Friday night there was a dance! Boy, dances sure seem to
start early these days. Anyway, David had a great time, and then also had
a party the next night. We hardly saw him at all over the weekend!
I got my mail-order "window pet-door"
and have been teaching the dogs how to use it. Laura was a bit of slow
learner, but they have both figured it out pretty well now. It fits nicely
into the window, and no construction or alteration of the house was required.
We heard at work that a company called Zimmer is making a takeover bid for our Company. This is worst news than the initial merger for most of us in Austin. I think I will begin preparing a memory page of pictures for all of my work travel adventure. Anyway, I get one more trip to Switzerland out of this mess. I hope I can stay employed through the end of the year.
Well, that is about it for now. To see more pictures of the events described in this diary, click here
