Mr. Rat's Ratty Research Notes
Well, last time we checked in with Mr. Rat, he was puzzling over the next move in project CHEW and GNAW. Faced with a few unfortunate set-backs, he and Scabbers have been hard at work reformulating their strategy. Let's see what his research notes reveal today.....
Tom, looking at me suspiciously
Unfortunately, Mr. Rat chewed up the pencil before he could finish this
message. What could this message mean? Could this cute face have
something to do with it?

A most unfortunate incident has caused the delay in the arrival of our new associates. It seems a mystery illness has afflicted our soon to be associates, Flick and Schwartz. I am glad to report they both are doing well at this time, and are expected to make a complete recovery. However, they won't be able to join us until early to mid-February, as they will be under quarantine until that time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them all - their brothers and sisters, Midnight - their mother, and all the rats and humans of Lonestar Rats of Central Texas.
Reverently,
Mr. Rat and Scabbers

Oh happy day! Our new associates arrived this evening! Unfortunately, Schwartz was unable to join us. His recent bout with ill-health left him feeling unfit for the job before us. Therefore, we decided he would choose another assignment and we received an even younger replacement for him. Already we are off to a good start....afterall, who can resist a cute little baby rat face? For now, the new associates are living in their own quarters downstairs....since Ratster is soooooo cute, we are employing the divide and conquer technique. Already Tom is making remarks about what a cute little "bugger" he is. Heh Heh Heh....it is only matter of time before our project is a complete success. After all...who could resist these faces????

Our
master brought home an amazing cage, we call it the Rat Tower, two weeks ago.
It is truly a giant...why, we hardly know what to do with all this space.
Scabbers and I have been interacting with our new associates, and today we all
moved in together. This joyous occasion was followed by an unprecedented
event...we received news that Schwartz would be joining us after
all...and...with an assistant! Schwartz and Fez showed up earlier this
afternoon. Now, there can be no doubt...we have all the help we need.

Sadly, Scwartz' poor health caught up with him and he has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Read more here. Our studies will continue after an appropriate mourning period.
