Dear Diary
Well, it was a short summer and now everyone is back in school. I really don't have much to say. My chronic and severe battle with CRS has really been acting up lately (CRS = Can't Remember S#!+). And of course, the vacation to MEXICO was so fabulous that everything else pales in comparison. However, we do have some events on the horizon. For starters, Tom and I will be going to Pensacola soon for a week, him on business me to goof off.
Oh yeah, in September I went to Vegas for a grooming seminar. Of course, I took my BFF Esther with me as she is a Vegas fanatic. My grooming buddy, Jane, also came and we shared a suite at THEHotel a the Mandalay Bay. It was awesome. Flat screen TV in the sitting room, bedroom and in the ginormous bathroom. It was soooo nice I didn't really want to leave the room. Which was just as well as I lost money every time I sat down to gamble. We had a really good time though. Esther and I even got stranded for an extra night when our plane had issues. Gee, that was terrible. Getting stuck in Vegas overnight and all. She managed to get a comped room at the MGM so the only money we spent was what I lost gambling.
OK, October starts the dog shows again. We will have three more shows through the end of the year. Hopefully a point or two will come my way. My chances are not so good, however, as I will be showing her myself in two of the shows. I will do my best.
Tennis and soccer have started up again and all is going well on that front.
Well, that is about it. I have only a few pictures of Shine's victories to post and that is it. Oh well...maybe the next update will be better. Until then, Wilken OUT.
